Mr Patel sees self-pay and insured patients for private orthopaedic assessment, treatment planning and second opinions.
A private consultation gives you time to discuss your symptoms, medical history, previous treatment and goals. Where appropriate, Mr Patel may examine the affected area, review available imaging or reports, and discuss suitable next steps.
Depending on your condition, options may include reassurance, physiotherapy, further imaging, injections, regenerative treatments where clinically appropriate, surgery, monitoring or onward referral.

What is included in the consultation
- Discussion of symptoms, medical history, previous treatment and personal goals
- Clinical examination where appropriate
- Review of available X-rays, MRI reports or previous clinical letters where relevant
- Discussion of suitable next steps, which may include further imaging, physiotherapy, injections, surgery, monitoring or onward referral
Additional costs
The consultation fee does not usually include hospital charges, imaging, blood tests, injections, surgical fees, anaesthetic fees, physiotherapy or other treatment costs. These are quoted separately by the relevant hospital or provider.
If surgery, imaging, injections or procedures are recommended, the relevant hospital or provider will usually issue a separate quotation. Final costs may vary depending on hospital location, diagnostic requirements, treatment type, implant requirements, insurer authorisation and individual circumstances.
