- Elbow pain such as golfer's or tennis elbow
- Unclear hand or wrist pain needing assessment
- Deformity with thickening of the palm and stiffness in the fingers or thumb
Why might this happen?
Symptoms can have more than one cause, and the site cannot diagnose this online. These are common possibilities that may be considered during assessment.
- Nerve compression such as carpal tunnel-type symptoms
- Tendon irritation, triggering or inflammation
- Ganglion cysts or selected joint-related problems
- Symptoms referred from the elbow, wrist or elsewhere
- Dupuytren's contracture
